These are just some of the questions Kutchenhaus Brentwood customers Peter and Julia faced when they had to close their Post Office, which they had run for 20 years and decide what to do with their property, which was also their home.

Recently featured on George Clarke's Remarkable Renovations, the couple shared their story of transforming their home and former shop premises, dividing them into two separate houses. As part of their complete renovation project, Peter and Julia opted for a Kutchenhaus kitchen, which had a transformation of its own.

The kitchen was once part of the display selection at a Kutchenhaus showroom. Conscious of sustainability and recycling, business owner Stephen Cowling contacted the Used Kitchen Exchange to assist with the display sale when it was time for a change. Peter and Julia spotted the opportunity as the perfect fit for their project. With the help of Stephen and his team at Kutchenhaus Brentwood, the ex-display kitchen found its place to shine, turning into the centrepiece of this remarkably renovated home.

What a fantastic transformation!

The two-toned kitchen design featuring our beautiful Touch range in alpine white and slate grey super matt certainly sets the scene in this fantastic open-plan living space. The island with the worktop overhang creates a versatile space where the couple can comfortably enjoy their morning coffee or socialise with guests while preparing delicious meals. Deep drawers provide plenty of storage space, perfect for pots and pans, larger plates or your kitchen essentials. The open shelves are beautiful finishing touches that add an airy feel to the overall kitchen design.
